Qualsafe Combined First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid Course (3 Days)

A Combined First Aid at Work (FAW) and Paediatric First Aid course is a three-day, Ofqual-regulated training programme that combines adult and child life-saving skills in one curriculum. Ideal for school, sports, and childcare staff, it covers CPR, choking, and injuries for all ages, meeting both HSE and EYFS requirements.

Course Summary

The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course is a three‑day, Ofqual‑regulated programme designed for people who work in environments where both adult and paediatric first aid skills are required, such as schools, childcare settings and sports clubs.

It brings together the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) and the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) into one extended course, reducing the number of training days needed to achieve both qualifications.

Learners gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond to a wide range of emergencies involving adults, children and infants, including CPR, defibrillation, choking, injuries, illnesses and life‑threatening conditions. This course is designed to prevent duplicate training and is highly recommended for teachers, nursery staff, and sports coaches. Participants receive two separate Level 3 RQF certificates, enabling them to act as both a workplace first aider and a qualified paediatric first aider.
