Training was delivered by Ben who was brilliant at delivering the course content at a really good pace.

Ben is very knowledgeable and was great at answering all the learners questions until they fully understood. The course material was informative and in great depth.

I came away from the course with a deeper level of understanding and lots of handy new tips.

The catheterisation course with Ben was very informative, and with no prior experience in doing it myself, I now feel very confident that I have all the required knowledge and tools to insert a catheter. I was the only proper participant, and Ben made sure to adjust the pace and to make it more relevant for me. He is very good at creating a safe space for questions and have a good dynamic in his presentations.
Every encounter i had with the employer’s of Caring for Care was super helpful, and they all seemed genuinely nice.
The exact location of the place in Stoke-on-Trent was a bit difficult to find but nothing a sign by the road or a phone call for directions can’t fix.
Overall a very enjoyable experience.

I had a very informative training session. I gained skills and knowledge which will benefit me in my career. My tutor John Starr was excelling and very good at explaining everything thoroughly, he made sure we all understood what he was saying and answered all our questions. His way of teaching was very good as I was not left confused. We received informative workbook which we could take home for our own learning. Would definitely recommend Caring for Care and Tracey to anyone needing this type of training.

I attended a one day PEG course a couple of weeks ago. Both myself and the trainer were qualified Nurses. The other cohort members were not , but were supporting children with PEG FEEDS. I was impressed with the Tutor because he pitched the training at the level we could all understand.
The opportunity to practice using the pumps and equipment was very useful to me as I have not had any experience with PEG Feeds before.
All the staff I came into contact with were pleasant and helpful
In addition it was very good value for money

We are a local agency working in private care homes in north Surrey & SW London. We were looking for tracheostomy training as a public course and sent 4 nurses on day training in London with Caring For Care.

Feedback from the staff was very good. The trainer was excellent as was the way the course was run. From our side, booking and managing was very good too.

Would recommend for classroom based training & we will look to book staff on other courses with them this year.

Caring for care have completed some mandatory training courses recently for our home care service and I am extremely impressed. They appreciate the field we are in that things can change quickly and they have always responded in the matter of minutes. From the regular communication I get with our regular key contact through to the trainers and content of the courses every aspect has been really high quality. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much!

Today’s course was Safe Handling and lifting the trainer was Kevin Shelmerdine. I really enjoyed the course, it was very informative and hands on. We had a chance to use hoists and slings, also slid sheets and other transfer equipment. I would recommend this course as a refresher, or if you are new to a role that requires you to assist with lifting or moving people. You will also find out how your spine works and how improper lifting/moving can cause damage.

Caring for Care have provided several training courses led by Kevin S, for our small residential home, for adults with Learning Disabilities. They have tailored the training to meet our specific needs, and Matt Honour, Business Manager has always offered us a choice of ‘In-house’ training or courses at the centre. All the courses we have had have been of excellent quality, with plenty of time for discussion, practice and learning. Kev made the courses fun, whilst providing us with relevant information and techniques. Matt has been very supportive of our company and is always quick to respond to queries and requests. Thank you. I have recently been on the safer handling of people. I really learnt a lot from this training and the trainer was great and made the whole curse into fun. so we were able to enjoy the course but at the same time learn so much. I would say that for me as a learning on the course, I would have preferred more of a structure to the theory learning and perhaps a little more time spent on it. the practical side was very good and the trainer demonstrated skills and knowledge of the course. Thank you.

I was worried at first about attending a course as it is many years since I have been in a classroom!

However, I needn’t have worried. Our trainer, Denyse, was lovely and gave me the time and support I needed, especially at first. Having completed my course it has given me a new confidence in life which I thought I would never feel again, so a big thank you to Denyse for a really positive experience.

If anyone reading this is thinking of doing a course then my advice is – just go for it!
