Ventilator Awareness Training
This ventilator awareness training course is aimed at nurses and carers responsible for the care of those who utilise a ventilation system.
The course will teach delegates about the respiratory system and the effects the ventilation system can have on an individual.
Delegates will discuss the various types of ventilation, the common complications associated with ventilation and what to do if there is a complication.

On completion of this ventilation awareness training delegates will be able to give a clear definition of ventilation, they will have a greater understanding of the respiratory system and be able to describe the various types of ventilation.
Delegates will have discussed common complications and understand the required actions to take.
How Many Can Attend Training?
We will run this course for a maximum of 12 delegates – however for larger groups we can either provide multiple trainers on the same day or run multiple days to get everyone trained.
Who Will Conduct The Training?
One of our expert clinical tutors, these are either Nurses or Doctors with an abundance of clinical and complex care experience and knowledge – so you’ll be in great hands!

DURATIONThis course lasts approximately 3 hours.
CERTIFICATIONDelegates will be issued with certificates of attendance valid for a period of 1 year.
