Bowel Care Training Course
This bowel care training course aims to raise awareness and knowledge in relation to bowel care and incontinence.
This course is ideal for care staff responsible for the day to day care of individuals who require assistance with bowel care.
Effective bowel careis especially important for spinal injury patients and those at risk of autonomic dysreflexia.
The course has a base level of theory with practical modules which can be added on as required.

This course includes
On completion delegates will be able to demonstrate much improved awareness of bowel management.
Delegates will have a greater understanding how to support a client who suffers from incontinence and constipation.
DURATIONThis course lasts approximately 3 hours – duration will be longer if suppositories, enemas, bowel irrigation or manual evacuation is requested which will be discussed upon booking.
CERTIFICATIONDelegates will be issued with certificates of attendance valid for a period of 1 year.
