Hi I’m Nicky,

I went straight into work via a YTS after leaving school, with the usual exams, a YTS should run for 12 months before being considered for a contract, however I received a full contract within 6 months. I went to night school to complete my typing exams, RSA 1 & 2. Throughout my career I have worked for a variety of employers ranging from the NHS to communication/manufacturing companies.

During my career at my last employer the Douglas Macmillan Hospice I passed my Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration, NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading and was an Excellent Champion for Investors In Excellence. I joined Caring for Care after being made redundant and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I made to join the team.
