Mandatory Training Courses - From Basic to Advance Courses.

Mandatory training courses are suitable for care and nursing home workers such as care workers, support workers, nurses, supervisors, managers, and those in leadership positions. These training courses are essential for both new and existing staff, providing them with the necessary skills to deliver quality care to those they serve. The list of Mandatory training for healthcare workers usually covers essential skills such as basic life support, fire safety, health and safety, manual handling, safeguarding adults and children, infection prevention and control, information governance, equality and diversity, preventing radicalisation, conflict resolution techniques, moving and handling, and food safety for relevant staff.   Depending on their roles, additional training may be required in medication management, venepuncture and cannulation training, mental capacity, deprivation of liberty, and resuscitation.   This structured training framework ensures that healthcare staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their responsibilities safely and effectively, while meeting legal and ethical requirements.

Mandatory Training Options

At Caring for Care, we offer three options for mandatory training courses: online courses, blended, and face-to-face sessions. You can choose the option that best suits your needs and those of your staff. Our face-to-face/blended training are conducted for groups of 3 to 15 individuals within care and nursing homes across the UK. The maximum number of participants depends on the specific course being delivered. Groups can be divided into smaller teams to facilitate questions, feedback, and support for your staff throughout the training. Your organisation can decide to build in-house competency through our list of train the trainer courses.
