Leg Ulcer Training for Nurses & HCAs

Leg Ulcer Management Training

Course Overview

Our Leg Ulcer Management Training equips nurses, carers, and support staff with the clinical knowledge and practical skills to assess, differentiate, and manage venous and arterial leg ulcers safely. Learners explore lower‑limb anatomy, risk factors, Doppler awareness, red‑flag recognition, and evidence‑based management strategies that support safe, consistent care.

Delivered onsite at your organisation anywhere in the UK, this course is led by practising clinicians and aligns with NICE guidelines, CQC expectations, and the National Wound Care Strategy Programme (NWCSP). It strengthens staff confidence, improves clinical decision‑making, and supports safer lower‑limb wound care across your service.

Please note this would be delivered on request for groups of up to 12 people. Our usual courses include wound care training, pressure ulcer prevention training, and tissue viability training. This would be a bespoke session, subject to trainer availability.
